We are a band here in the Charlotte area who hired Dale from Videoccasions, Inc. to do a 2 camera shoot for a promo dvd. Dale showed up late, did not introduce himself to us, and began packing up his gear (primitive gear, i'll explain later on) before we told him we were done. After giving the DAT and dvds to our editor, I got a call that the DAT was blank and he couldn't do anything with it. Long story short, the DAT tape he gave to us was blank, his equipment malfunctioned. When I gave him the tape back at his home office, he left the room, made a copy of the data from the a DVD copy and put it on the DAT tape and said it was all there. Essentially, DALE didn't do his job, he lied and fraudulently swapped the tape out and refuses now to give us our money back. A civil law suit is in the works. STAY AWAY FROM VIDEOCCASIONS. Do yourself a favor and hire a competent, smart and cooperative videographer.
