I emailed for reservations on January 18, 2007. I was finally able to get them confirmed on January 23, 2007. This was for me and my mother - a "Light Victorian Lunch" on February 6, at 2pm. It was a special event and I was visiting from Austin, TX. My Mom and I arrived for our 2pm reservation. A very confused Cindy Falco - the owner - answered the locked door, after we rang several times. She had no idea why we were there! She had not taken down the reservation, although she was the person with whom I made it. I was very disappointed and embarrassed as this was my treat to my Mom - and a surprise, no less - for her birthday! Cindy apologized, gave us each a flower, and hugged us. She offered to reschedule, but it was too late - I was returning home early the next morning. After having built up this "surprise" for several weeks and then ending up with nothing, it was a very big let down. And because my mom and I arranged our schedule around this - the days & times for tea are very limited - there was no time left for me to make any other arrangements. Some surprise.
