Like many people, I was presented with a choice of skilled nursing facilities for my mother, who was in the process of undergoing full hip replacement surgery. I had to decide which one, however I was not in any position to research them at the time. I subsequently selected Victoria Special Care, as a second choice, due to the location.

The first thing I did when i got home was to check on-line for any reviews, websites, etc... I could find nothing concerning reviews. I'm hoping that whomever might be reading this might feel some comfort, if they too are in a like-type situation.

Victoria Special Care could not be any nicer. I was honestly blown away. OK, it's not a resort, but i pictured something totally different.

From the moment walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly, clean dog. The dog freely roams and greets both the family and patients. Pet therapy of sorts. I was then escorted to my mother's room by a very friendly staff member. I was offered lunch, or coffee, soda, and even a Margarita.

The staff appeared friendly and willing to help. The facility itself is clean, organized and very pleasant.

The food seem decent too. My mother, the patient, was happy with everything too, even the food.

So, if you are reading this in an effort to learn whether or not this is a nice place, in my opinion- VERY, so don't worry.
