Veterinary Specialty Hospital Saved My Dogs Life
Veterinary Specialty Hospital Save My Dogs Life. He hurt his back, and it progressively got worse until his spinal cord was pinched and his rear end was paralyzed. His only choices were to be put down / put to sleep or surgery to remove the ruptured disck fragments and tissue and the prognosis for survival and recovery was high at 90%. Even though the costs were astronomical, in the high thousands of dollars, it was worth it. If you have an emergency pet situation bring your dog here. *AND GET PET INSURANCE FIRST*. Spinal surgergy, any major surgery costs thousands from a few to $8k or even more. Smaller emergencies like stitches from a dog fight puncture are surely far less. Last but not least Grand Animal Hospital - my main vet recommended we take him here.

Cannot call to speak to a vet after spending 10k plus
Have gone for years. No more! Service has disconnected.
They want you to talk to the vet techs that haven't even seen your dog. We called for a direct phone call from the doc. Oddly, only when we threatened to reverse our credit card charges did we get a call, and it STILL wasn't from the attending physician, as promised. Guess they're more concerned about their money than our dog. Very sad!

I brought my puppy in because she was vomiting ingested bad milk. She was a teacup chihuahua. Took them 35 min to get us a room no one talk to us until I went and bug them. They made me put a $500.00 deposit and said that they had to just have deposit only but i wont get charge the $500.00 they said they will give me a estimate first i declined estimate. I ask to see my puppy over 5 times and kept hearing from them give us a few min. By then I had it I told them that I wanted to go to my VET. That's when the really beat around the bush. They said they were getting her prepared to go they said and after another 35-40min they said We need you VET info as if they did not believe me 15min later a lady rush in the room asking me do i want them to do CPR i was shock then the lady said your dog is dying i ran to the back to find my dog 3 times her size not breathing and them preforming CPR. This experience was heartbreaking they did not let me see my dog they did not explain my bill and they did not ask me for any permission or approval. I AM FILLING A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM AND GETTING MY ATTORNEY INVOLVE. THINK TWICE BEFORE TRUSTING ANY BIG VET HOSPITAL. I PAID 479.00 AND I BROUGHT HOME MY DEAD PUPPY. Best place to go if you need it
We were referred to VSH when our lab was very anemic. After 4 days there and thousands of dollars in tests (yes, thousands but considering she was in the ICU and had an MRI and bone marrow biopsy, it... ...
