My visit to Versi (downtown location) was amazing. From the minute I called (thank you Crystal) to the minute I walked out, I felt welcome, comfortable and entertained. I bought a value book from a salesperson to this salon, and have been going back again and again. The services were professional, the staff is hilarious, and their customer service is top notch. Elena, (waxing specialist), Jade (most awesome stylist ever), and Sam (best story teller EVER/manicurist) are the folks I saw there, and I have never been disappointed. When one of them is not available, someone else is always willing to take you for the day, and THEY DON'T MAKE YOU FEEL GUILTY ABOUT IT!!! The teamwork in this salon is the key to their success, and as long as they will have me I will continue to return!!!

Just like everyone I have my favorite hairstylist who knows what I like and what not to do. Unfortunately, I moved away from mine and have been in search ever since (I'm like Murphy's Law when it comes to letting strangers cut my hair). I am new to the San Antonio area and have finally ended my search for a new hairstylist. When I walked into Versi, I was greeted by friendly and very helpful staff. Jade was my stylist, and I couldn't ask for better. I described the cut I wanted, but to get a clearer idea she used her cell phone to look up a picture on the internet without a problem. She did a fantastic job on the cut (very detail oriented) and kept me entertained. The salon itself is sort of a trendy low key place. Very modern and eclectic. It's a little pricey, but for the service, staff, and quality I definitely highly recommend it. Especially, if you want to spend the day in a nice, entertaining part of town (RiverCenter).

I recently moved into town from Dallas and needed a new waxing specialist. I tried the nails places in town because they were cheap and I was already there for my hands and feet. Talk about a mess! I had wax in my hair, on my clothes, just all over the place! I was flying back to Dallas every six weeks for my waxing, and to get my hair done. I read a review on CitySearch and decided to give Versi a try, because some one said the waxing was "fun", if you can believe that. Let me tell you, it wasn't just fun, it was easy. Elena told me that 75% of the pain of brazillians was being comfortable with your waxer. Was she ever right. She sat with me first and told me what to expect, promised she would stop if it became too uncomfortable, and kept me so entertained through the whole procedure, I was shocked and a little sad when it was over. Not only that, she interviewed me through the whole process and matched me up with Jade for a hair appointment. I HEART JADE! It was a perfect fit, and Elena really knows the stylists in her salon. I still go to the little nail places for hands and feet for convienience, but I now see Jade for my hair and Elena will have my business no matter where she is at. Versi on the Riverwalk is cool. Trust me when I say IT IS FUN!

This salon has added the most talented artist in the biz! His name is Anthony Gentile.I would follow this guy to Palm Springs if I had to! Seriously, if you want the best, there is no other place or person to go to. Bar none. ( and I have tried them ALL in the last 40 years) The salon is a plus, too. You recieve valet parking and the "Royal treatment" from beginning to end. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun; and at the same time upscale. I have never walked away disappointed. ( and I am picky, really picky ) If you want to get more than what you pay for, visit Versi Downtown and see Anthony. Just don't you dare take my appointment! Anthony is a must! Color, Cut, you name it. I love this guy...therefore I LOVE Versi! Smartest move they ever made! The most compliments I've ever had!

I am in town for a conference and was refered to Versi (Riverwalk location) by a friend. I made my appointment for a brazilian wax and Elena totally rocks!! She was super friendly and made the session a lot of fun, no kidding!! The salon itself has a great vibe and the whole staff is very attentive and friendly. I will definitely retrun whenever I am in town.
