Fried my truck wiring

These guys installed a camper shell on my 05 Silverado when it had less than 20K miles - after that the left brake light kept going out on the truck.
Turns out they'd tied the shells brake light into a place in the trucks wiring harness - using Scotchlocks in a place exposed to water - that couldn't handle the load. Kept melting the plastic on the truck light bulb, more importantly fried a wire in the trailer harness so a brake light's permanently on. Dunno how much it's going to cost to fix, but I know I'm never going back to this place.
