My name is Don, I'm 38 and I've been in the hospitality/restaurant business for over 18 yrs. Currently I'm the Food & Beverage Director for a large golf club. My wife and I stayed at the Rock House Casita over Memorial weekend. We have never experienced such genuine hospitality. The Casita was fully stocked with snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non) at no additional charge. At no point in our stay did we need ask for anything. Maggie and Steve were amazing hosts. We decided to cook for ourselves. Each night, Maggie brought us fresh herbs from her garden. The views were amazing. We enjoyed morning hikes, fishing by the creek, ATV rides, sunsets from our private deck and my wife enjoyed a massage in the parlor. We fed the wildlife and watched deer from our deck as we drank Mimosas. (which were also stocked in our Casita!) I have never written a review, but with everything the Verde River Rock House has to offer including Maggie and Steve, we will be back at least twice per year, every year. From a professional point of view, I would recommend this get away to anyone who just wants to get away from it all and take some time to enjoy life.

This is my favorite place to get away for a treat. Lovely setting, great food, wonderful service. Can't be beat!

The best bed and breakfast we have experienced! The house is located in a perfect location with a lot of privacy! Owners take great care of their guest! Breakfast was amazing! Every item was specially prepared with a lot of attention to quality and taste! We did not want to leave Verde River Rock House as it brought the peace, tranquility and rest we needed! A fabulous treat!

Every year we head out to a B&B for our anniversary and we stay at a different one every time. So needless to say we have visited many. Verde River Rock House is . . . amazing, fabulous, surprising, stupendous and sublime. Need we say more? We dare you!

I do not have the words to explain how enjoyable our stay was at the Verde River Rock House Bed and Breakfast.
When I think of a perfect weekend this was it.
Maggie and Steve are some of the kindest people you could ever meet. The food prepared by Maggie was out of this world. (I recommend the Shrimp-Cargot)
My husband was calling our friends on the way home to tell them about our incredible weekend. We are planning another trip for May.
