small, inexpensive, clean and the employees seem nice. I'd take VBC over Buena Lanes any day. Vibe805 is probably upset because he/she paid by the hour and thought he/she was paying by the game; and yes, you ALWAYS need bowling shoes no matter where you go.‎

As a girl from the Midwest, I have a great appreciation for a bowling alley with about 10 lanes, a good bar with cheap food, and a jukebox. VBC has it all. It has a nice, neighborly feel to it.

As the more seedy bowling alley in town, it's still a great place to hang out. It's usually a bit less busy than its competition, not to mention cheaper. They aren't a great deal, but I do recall a pretty good weekday special one day a week, so call ahead to find out what specials they are currently offering.
