But current management has turned it into a bank with a credit union name. It's really sad actually. There are a couple of people there that are from AMFCU, when it was a real credit union and their presence has made me stay till lately. Not Anymore. They could easily change the name to Wells of America Velocity used to be a credit union. For real, they are just a bank with a different name. BAD IDEA! Don't believe me? Deal with their loan department for a while. Try to get results from talking to them about problems with your account. Good luck. I'll be changing financial institutions here really soon for a real Credit Union and not some sham imitation of one. I'll miss the good people that are left there and feel bad that they will be dealing with a BOD that has no interest except to turn it into a bank and take your money.‎

Just a Bank with a different name. When it was AMFCU it was great. When it became Velocity it turned into a version of Wells Fargo or Bank of America.

I was with this financial institution for longer than any i have ever had. Not anymore.

Never had better service: Great service, lower fees, friendly staff. Plus they give me access to more than 200 free ATMs in the Austin area....pretty good for a credit union!
