Very rarely does a sure thing arise, but when the opportunity is there, take it. That's just like VegNout. If you are a card carrying carnivore, take a bite out of a meaty burger or smothered hotdog, and ask whether you can tell the difference; the great part is, even if you can, the taste won't make you care. And for vegans, many items on the completely vegetarian menu can be made so.


But at VegNout not only is what you eat important, but what you eat with. Every utensil, to go box and anything else you lay your eyes on involving the in house choices comes from either recycled products or otherwise eco-friendly material. Except one little thing, promotions for the bottled water that makes donations to cleaning up water sources around the globe are made of plastic. A more than forgivable instance. So for bringing a substantial dining choice to the community, and realizing it in green hues, VegNout is a definite destination.

This place --- is a heaven for Vegetarians. Of course, do I wish I could get a meal deal like you do at your favorite fast food place, yes. Maybe we could suggest they add an easy on the pocket book special once a week. Aside from it being a little more than your fast food compares, this place is fantastic. I ordered a veggie meatball sandwich & let me tell you, it was WONDERFUL. Staff is friendly. You can dine-in, they have 5-6 tables inside & a few outside, or you can take it to go & I did, I took it to volleyball to fuel up after a game, nothing like diving into a meatball sandwich knowing it is all vegetarian! Good for the heart & soul! This place should be on your list as a once a week kind of spot!

Loved that they serve veg food but there are other veg spots in SD that are much better imo.

Tons of variety, fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors, and great potato wedges.

The Elvis with fake bacon was outrageously good! The Southwestern and the Island Girl compete for top honors.

Plus you feel good after, not heavy or greasy.

The food is very good and mindfully prepared. There is a great selection of vegetarian and vegan items. The people are friendly and the place is clean as a whistle. I live right around the corner, so I can walk or ride my bike.
