I recently broke my glasses when living out of state and need a replacement. I could have very well gone to a local eye doctor, or chain eye place but decided to return to this doctor and business. After driving 750 miles, I was running late, and called. However, when I arrived, (20min later) I was informed the doctor had taken lunch. I understand that appointments are important to be early to but some circumstances are unavoidable. But in the same respect, in these uncertian economic times, where I choose to spend my money is important, I will never recommend this doctor again (after recommending people for 10 years). I would have hoped that Dr. Van Patten would have seen my loyality and maybe could have held off on a 11:30am lunch.
