Glen at Valley Fabrication is a super friendly and classic guy. I took several parts for my 1972 Ford F250 project truck there and was super pleased with the quality of their work, the service, and the price! One thing I had them do was bend, cut, and thread a shift cane for my 1972 Borg-Warner T18 transmission. I had bought a replacement cane that came completely straight, and it needed to be bent to match the original, worn out cane. Glen took the original cane as a sample, grabbed the new, straight cane, and used a fancy pipe-bending machine they have to bend the new one to match! He bent the cane in about five minutes while I waited at the counter, and when he brought it back I was stunned at the precision of his work. The bends were EXACTLY like my original. And anybody that's ever tried to bend something like that knows that it's not easy to get a perfect match! They only charged $10 or $15 to bend the cane! What a deal.
