Terrible by Anthony L. at InsiderPages
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible...Do Not Ever Ever Ever goes these guys. I was referred to them by my mother-in-law. A couple of her co-workers went them so she suggested we do also when our transmission went out.It started off great but went severely down hill from there. They quoted us a reasonable time and price. $2700 and 4 days seemed that way for a 94 BMW 740il transmission replacement. So they took our $1500 deposit to order the part and start to work, a week later they still didn't have anything to show. It took them 10 days just to get the transmission. When they finally got it we were hoping to have our car back in under two weeks... So the 14th day comes and still no car but they realized what was wrong and claimed it would only be another day. Which in reality is 3 days since they told us that late Friday afternoon. We hold our tongue though since this nightmare is almost over. Monday comes and nearly goes with no word from them, about 3pm a guy calls us to tell us the part that was supposed to be here today didn't get shipped until today. Ground from Sacramento no less... So again we bite our tongue and don't say anything. He tells us he'll have the part by 10am Wednesday morning and all they have to do is plug it in and test it for a bit and we'll have our car back. Wednesday comes and nearly goes, the part doesn't get delivered by 10am, it gets delivered at 2:30pm. We wait for an hour and a half so they can do their thing and finish our car. So at 4pm we call and turns out the electronic piece didn't fix the car. Not only did it not fix the car, when they tested the transmission without it, they ruined the transmission and the computer. In 3 weeks they've broken more things on our car than we have in 2 years of ownership. He doesn't have another transmission and no time-line to give us.

Helpful and prompt by frances g. at InsiderPages
Here's a family-owned business worth going to. I have gladly driven far from home to take my WV there because I know that I'm never sold anything I don't need. It's nice to go somewhere and not have my time abused, and know that job it being done right. I've always had prompt and efficient service, and I've never had a single problem there. You can go to a chain and have a price quoted to you right away, but I suspect those numbers are often higher than need be. I'm happy to have someone actually diagnose my vehicle, and then give me the number.

Sketchy service... by Gary M. at InsiderPages
I went to the shop under previous owners, and a different name. They were much better. They were unable to provide a quote for work for me, so I left my number for them to call me back which they said they would. After a week I called them back, and had to give the information I wanted quoted all over again. After a week and a half I finally got a call back. Ya, like I'm going to go some place that works like this.

The price was slightly better then the dealer. I don't know about the work they do, but if it's anything like their customer service, you better find some place else to go.
