I took my 2002 Xterra there because the engine was running rough and the clutch was making a strange noise. They told me the would do a thorough exam of the vehicle and get back to me. The service advisor had me sign the papers which stated "estimate of work" and there was $110.00. I asked him what that was for and he said "it was an estimate: and he "was not sure why that keeps coming up, not to worry". Later that day, I was called and they informed me that my transmission and clutch needed replaced and it would cost 3400 dollars. They did not even look at the engine. I told them I didn't want them to do the work. When I picked up the vehicle, they charged me $110.00 dollars for labor. The Service Manager, Stuart told me "they did all this work for you and it costs".

To add insult to injury, the next day I took the XTerra to Aamco and they said there was nothing wrong with the transmission, but replaced the clutch for a third Nissan wanted.

If you go there, be careful what you sign and the explanation of fees. Don't waste $110.00 like I did!

Friendly service and makes me smile by Julie H. at InsiderPages
After my negative, horrible experience with another Nissan dealer, I was not a happy camper that the check engine light was on in my 2 year old Sentra. I will defend Zack as an excellent service writer and say he met his goal of putting the smile back on my face. Valencia Nissan provided great service and took care of the issues under warranty without question. He even followed up with the radio they needed to order in less than a week. These guys are great!

Service without a smile by CaesarTheDay _. at InsiderPages
This was my second visit to Valencia Nissan Service department. While the first one was just a regular inspection / oil change and nothing to write about, this one was completely different.
First, it took at least 4 calls to the service department to schedule an appointment: they don't pick up and they certainly don't call back.
When I dropped my car off on Saturday morning, the service rep, Zack, was grumpy and unpleasant. Any attempts at chit-chat or small talk resulted in a muffled reply and a basic don't bother me attitude.
The car had some A/C issues so I asked them to take a look and call me to let me know what needed to be repaired. No one called. I finally called around 3:30pm to try and find out if the car was ready. It was, and the service department was closing at 4:00pm. So when I got there, there was no one to explain the findings, nor anyone to ask questions about their 'suggested' additional repairs. Furthermore, they left my SUV's transmission in 4-wheel LO position and seat heaters on. I realized that something was wrong about a block away and had to switch the transmission back to normal. This was my wife's car - so if she had picked it up she probably wouldn't have noticed and drove it on a freeway in a 4-LO position killing the drive-train.
Now to the 'suggested' repairs. They listed at least 4 items that I had replaced less than 12000 miles ago and still had warranty on the parts. Their prices were also at least double of what a regular mechanic would charge. I verified all their items with an independent mechanic and even the original Nissan parts were marked up over 150%.
This dealership's service is sub-standard. I'm sure that their work is fine, but the customer service as well as pricing and made up items on the suggested repairs list are ridiculous. Needless to say I would not recommend this particular service department. I know that in S

A good dealership by Angela R. at InsiderPages
I've never had any problems with Valencia Nissan. They're nice people and easy to work with. They've always fixed all of our (under warranty) car problems within a few days. If I was paying out of pocket, they're kind of expensive.
