I have been seeing podiatrists for over 10 years and I have to say that I have never met a more caring doctor! He spent 1/2 hr with me and answered all my questions, I never felt rushed. He got rid of my foot pain, set me up with orthotics and the right kind of shoes for my feet which make my feet feel like their walking on pillows. He also set me up on an exercise routine to help me lose weight and it's working! Thank you Dr. Avakian your the best!

Everything about Dr.Avakian and his staff bugged me. It was all so rodeo drive, and so were the prices. I didn't feel like I could trust him to diagnose me properly because his hand was already in wallet. They charge exorbant prices for physical therapy, and when I questioned it, they told me that had to be so they could get what they needed from the insurance company. However, if I didn't have insurance the whole session would have been only 70 dollars. My insurance payed, after adjusting, over 125.00$ No wonder our dues keep going up. My orthodics(something insurance doesn't cover) were suppose to be some super summer special at 300.00, yet I found out that is all the insurance will allow them to charge for them. Some deal. :-( It all felt a little like a scam.

I found Valencia Medical Group through our local magazine here in SCV. A close friend of mine recommended Dr. Josh Mitchell to me as a chiropractor and I highly recommend his services. He's a great guy and his staff is really kind.
