Horrifyinf Experience
I had a Rotti in crisis that needed to be euthanized immediately.Dr Pirzada came in a timely fashion, then proceeded to give a tranq way to small for my Rotti(105lbs).He kept saying dog must have gained wt(he did'nt). He stabbed him literally(4x's) for a total of 9cc's(not nearly enough I was told).Dog at this point is crazed w/fear @ slightest move of DR,& if it looked as tho dog might go to sleep he would make a fast jerky move towards dogs rear. After a nerve shattering 78minutes of this my poor Rotti had become a crazed, frothing rabid acting dog, something he has never been.He even made lunges at my daughter & grandson as we were all 3 having to hold him at this point.25 minutes of this was witnessed by people from funeral home who were waiting to take my Rotti for his private cremation. They were horrified at what they saw also.On the advice of regular vets office I made Mr Pirzada leave my yard under threat of calling police.I paid him $60.00 for his time.(He charges by the hour & we were now starting on the 3rd hour & he was loading the 5th syringe of tranq medicine.I was trying to make my beloved Rotti's last hour pain-free as possible as he has suffered so much with all his leg & joint ailments in his 7.5 yrs.Everyone who saw, or heard how he handled this said it amounted to torture & done to padd the charges. My regular vet was out of town & this guy has big ad in phone book that said emergencies, euthansia, caring service. This guy missed the caring by a ball park.On advice of regular vet's office I called, then took Rotti to the Humane Society we had adopted him from. His suffering was over in 9 minutes.I will spend the rest of my life trying to forget the suffering tormented eyes that kept looking to me for help in those 78 minutes spent at Pirzada's inept hands.Porgieo
