Love it!
I've used it for years. Most visits I check my car over before I leave and am very pleased. On occasion I point out a smudge on the windshield or the vacuumer missed something, but that's the exception, not the rule. And they fix it if i ask or it get's cleaned the next time if i don't. The attention to details is what i love. The people are friendly to boot!

Touchless car wash with good service
I've been using uptown car wash for 8 years regularly. I usually see the same employees there who all seem to get along together and have a good time while they work on the cars. After the vacuum, usually good though on occasion, it could be a little better, they spray the car with a high pressure wand, hand wash it with two guys, then send it through the tunnel with equipment. None of the washing equipment touches the car. They use high pressure water jets that cover the entire car. Their "robot" actually follows the contour of the car allowing for high pressure water (and soap I assume) to be up close and personal to the paint. Then the colored wax foam is applied, rinsed (their are four "rinse"arches!) and run throught he blower bags. Two guys finish the car usually opening the trunk, wiping the door jams and finishing the paint and windows. I think they take a little longer than most other carwashes I've been to. First, they are very popular thought hey handle the traffic flow very well. And second, they actually take a little longer servicing your car. Most people I see, hand the attendants a personal tip so they must be happy. I like it and would recommend it to anyone who has 15-20 minutes and wants a clean car and a nice, clean environment to relax or shop in. The bathrooms are even clean!

WORLD CLASS? HAHAHA WORST CARWASH EVER! by h a. at InsiderPages
I'm from LA, and just moved to SD. I was looking for a carwash and came upon this one where I paid 12.99 for a regular carwash. I asked the man, how much for Armorall? He said I'd have to upgrade to 16.99 carwash and I said forget it.

He reminded me when I bought the 12.99 that they weren't going to use armorall on my tires. The car came out after they washed it and it had water spots. My car is a brand new beamer that's navy blue. I approached my car, not really paying attention to the spots but to the rims that I have, which are just stock rims. They had brake dust, and dirt, still remaining on the rims! I said, what's going on here, you guys don't just wash this down? Armorall is a whole different story, that's for the tire, but this is part of the car. The man kept trying to wash me and explain that because I didn't get the 16.99 carwash that they dont even touch the wheels! I flipped out and said you have to be kidding me! In LA for 10 bucks we pay and get the full monty!

Next, I realized the car remained to have swirls and water spots because people realize this carwash just SPRAYS SOAP AND WATER on the car and drys it with a machine. This is not a 100% hand wash that has brushing machines or people washing the car as it passes through. This touchless is probably the worst carwash because the dirt remains on the car, watersports, etc. It's not a true carwash. Don't waste your money at all at this place. It's a rip off, and this is the equivalent of a Gas Station Automated Carwash and they just bring it out and hardly wipe it down. If you're getting a detail at this place too, you are DEFINITELY wasting your money lol.
