The people who work at Uptown Bikes are about the most pleasant in any bike shop I've ever been to. They work fast, accurately, a charge what I perceive to be a fair price.

Every time I've brought my bike in, the staff did an excellent job. Their customer service is simply top notch. Always super polite, and their turnaround time has always been very reasonable. Once I had them do a custom install of an Xtracycle, and they did a very professional job, even consulting with the manufacturer to make sure everything was on the level.

I took my bike to Uptown when I had a problem with it and I thought I maybe needed a bike tune-up. I'm pretty bike-ignorant, and I was kinda worried that the staff would be jerks or that they would rip me off. Not sure if I got ripped off, but they told me what the issues were and gave me options! I really liked that they laid out my options, instead of just saying you must do this or nothing at all. They were also super nice and didn't make me feel bad for being bike-ignorant. I guess there was an issue with my bike that needed to looked over by the senior bike repair person and that also made me feel like my bike was in the right hands. Out of all my bike shop experiences, this was the best and this place did everything right. I will for sure come back here.

The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They are more than willing to listen to your bike issues thoroughly and will even test ride it to hear the noises you're talking about. They have a good selection of used parts and won't pressure you into purchasing the most expensive items.

They can usually do repairs within 24 hours but are closed on wednesdays (i think)
