The University Market, aptly named because of its proximity with the University of Chicago, is essentially a convenience store. It has prices that are a little higher than stores that focus on food, but if you need something fast and are walking by you won't be gouged. There are better options in the area if you have the time though, like CVS, Walgreens, or the Co-op Markets.
