After watching so many people on talk shows (Dr. Phil's wife, Robin McGraw, Suzanne Summers, etc. & "regular" women) rave about the difference these Bio Identical Hormone Creams/gels helped even out their mood swings, & various other maladies of menopause, I was ready to go to LA to seek out this treatment. (I am not "rich" by any means, but I was desperate to feel better, without unnatural hormones). Much to my delight, there was a great doctor (retired, experienced, well respected OB-GYN that has switched his focus to Bio Identical Hormone Treatment of Women), right "down the street" in Loomis. I began this journey about 14 months ago, & I am very pleased with the results. Only thing is, I needed to submit the insurance forms for reimbursement, myself. A plus is, that the "Compound Pharmacist" (also very good) is in the same building, & I also have to file infurance forms to be reimbursed for the monthly RX, as well. Having to do the paperwork is a pain. I wish they submitted it, as other medical offices do). After your inital consultation/saliva testing, you follow up only once a yr. with the Dr. The staff is also great. I say "Go for it!" Now I'm trying to locate such a Dr. for my sister who lives in another state.
