Nice place for lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere.

I have heard a lot about UJ'S pizza and I've had it a few times, but yesterday I tried something different for lunch--Their fish & chips were fantastic!!! The breading was light and very flavorful, the server said it was Atlantic Cod and I loved it. My friend got the Hot Sicilian sandwich and the home made potato chips. She said there were so many flavors in the sandwich it was hard to say which one was the kicker, it just worked well together and dipping it in the dressing was heaven. I would surely reccomend you go there and try what ever suits your mood, more than the pizza rocks!
The new big screen TV's were a surprise and the sign said that they have the NFL Sunday Ticket and The Why Store is going to play there Nov. 1st. I may have one of their many import beers, wings, and wach a few games at the same time Sunday.

I had dinner the other night at Union Jack Pub. I took my mother for her birthday. The place hasn't changed much in the past decade, and I hoped for a good experience. I ordered a 10" Four Seasons pizza and my mom got the breaded tenderloin. Her tenderloin was very overcooked and tough, and her fries were soggy and over seasoned. My pizza on the other hand was very good, and we both ended up eating it instead of mom eating her tenderloin. They had a very nice selection of beers, and not just the usual 5 or 6 that most bars have. My pizza had a sweet chunky sauce and plenty of toppings and was topped with fresh basil. Even with both of us eating on it I still took home a few slices for the next day. Definitely the best pizza I have had in a long time. It took a while for our order but the server told us that it would be about 40 minutes on the pizza, so at least we had a heads up. And the red head bartender was funny and hot!

To be perfectly honest with you the public, the very first time that I ever had such a tasty deep dish Chicago Style Pizza was here at Union Jack Pub Speedway!!! The inside of the restaurant is a gorgeous blast from the past! Kinda reminds me of CHEERS with a racing theme. Lots of beautiful race memorabilia, not to mention the the very best West Indianapolis beer selection on draft daily!! Contrary to other reviews I've read, I have never waited more than 45min. for any deep dish style pizza.

I love Union Jacks and especially love the STUFFED pizza. It's a little pricey and takes a long time to cook but it is delicious! When it arrives it looks pretty small but it is VERY filling! I'm getting ready to go pick one up now!! The pub sticks and onion soup are also highly recommended. For several years they permitted children but due to the new smoking laws kids aren't allowed anymore so I don't get to go as often. I can understand their decision though.
