Well after searching high and low I found a Honda Dealer in Southern California that actually had a hybrid in stock. And the best part was it was a used model in excellent condition with a fair amount of miles....which doesn't bother me because my past honda ran well into the 100k mile territory no problem. So i bought the used hybrid and it came with the little carpool stickers, which is perfect for my wife who commutes 60 miles on the 405. She's happy and i am out of the dog house.
