This was my husband's favorite restaurant when it was located in the village. Great Calamari as well as many other dishes. This was a hang out of many of the boys in the days. Crazy Joe was always seen here. I heard the food is just as good. Worth going to the Bronx.

Absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing, and the service was great. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Umbertos. I never knew this place existed, but I am so happy we found it! We look forward to coming back again and again.

i ate here several times as a fordham student -- i had friends who raved about the place -- while it was fine, there are a number of italian restaurants on arthur ave that are much, much better. its draw is that its a seafood restaurant - but the other restaurants on arthur serve seafood, and if you're really craving it your best bet in the bronx is to head to city island anyway (opposite end of pelham pkwy). the service is nothing to write home about, but there was live music on a number of occasions which was enjoyable.
