NOOOOO!!!
If I could stand on top of a mountain and scream one thing it would be to NOT go to Umberto Salon.
I recently was referred to what I know now as their "Robertson" location. I wasn't aware at the time they had two locations, one on "Canon Dr" and the other on "Robertson." I looked up the address on their website and it had one address...their "Canon Dr" location. I got my directions and drove to the salon. I had to park in valet ($7/hr) and headed into the salon. I couldn't have been "greeted" by more snooty and rude people. Three stylists stood at the counter not even acknowledging i walked in. Finally a man asks me who I am there to see and he goes, "No one is here by that name." I look at the other two women and they just give me a look like I'm crazy. I go, "Well, that is the name of the stylist." He finally goes, "Ugh, you must be at the wrong location. You must be referring to our Robertson location." I go, "Where is that? I didn't know you had two locations??"
So, I go back to the valet, pay him my $ and tip and head over to the Robertson location where I was at least 30 minutes late. The stylist was irritated because I was now 30 minutes late (which I can fully understand.) She later warmed up and even offered me a product for free for the inconvenience.
Although the Robertson Salon took care of me, I will NEVER spend another penny at this salon, let alone the Canon Drive location. To those three stylists working the counter...You may "work" in Beverly Hills...but at the end of the day, you probably go home to an apartment in the valley. Go learn some customer service.
