When we vacationed to Corpus Christi, we visited the U.S.S. Lexington Battleship Museum. They have a very neat tourist route through the restored ship, and have the ship air conditioned as well. The price to enter was $12 for adults and $7 for kids. The also have a snack bar and gift shop, and bring a penny to make your own sovenier.
