First time I took a cab from San Diego airport to UCSD. Asked
First time I took a cab from San Diego airport to UCSD. Asked if he knows where UCSD is, he kept quiet so I gave him a campus map which has the words "University of California at San Diego" printed on the page. He reviews the map at every stop sign (complains about not detail enough) and finally we arrived at the campus gate, but unfortunately this was USD instead of UCSD, La Jolla. So he turned around and began searching for UCSD. Finally we arrived at the right campus; he stopped at the information gate and took his time to ask for directions (while the meter is still running) and yet he has to circle around the campus to find the destination. Not forgetting that I had to ask a passer -by for directions too while still driving around. Finally, I arrived at my destination and yet he dares to say that if I don't pay him the fares registered on the meter, he won't give me my luggages. I ended up paying him $60, which normally would only cost $35-$38 one way (15-20min). I wasted 1 hour of my precious time. I have never seen such a cab driver with no sense of direction and I will never ever take this USA cab again. I would not recommend to others. Very awful and furious experience.

I used USA cab #881 from San Diego Airport to my destination in
I used USA cab #881 from San Diego Airport to my destination in Sorrento Valley on Wednesday evening September 9. The cab fare exceeded $50.00

Upon arrival I handed the driver my Am X credit card. In a very surly manner he said "Don't you have cash?" I responded that the sticker on the window of his cab said credit cards accepted.

He then rudely responded that paying by credit card "takes too much time" I still offered my credit card.

After grudgingly running the card he said "okay so who is going to pay the service charge?"

At that point I turned and entered my building after retrieving my luggage from the trunk as he sat in his cab.

My review is "DO NOT use this cab company"

wow, i called usa cab, thinking they were good, but instead
wow, i called usa cab, thinking they were good, but instead they were horrible! i called in for a customer on the FREEWAY!!!!!! you would think that would concern the driver, but it didnt. when i called for my customer, the dispatch agent couldnt get ahold of the cab driver, so i asked for him number, and he didnt answer!! this was a ridiculous situation that left my customer stranded on the freeway until i had my tow truck driver illegally put all four passangers in his truck and take them to the nearest rest stop! i wouldnt reccommend this cab company to my worst enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have Van Cabs! by Michelle B. at InsiderPages
I use this cab company every time! They are very reliable and friendly. The drivers always give me their number to call later when we are ready to be picked up. They also have van cabs that hold 7 people, for the same price as a regular cab! They are always on time and easy to reserve.

The most awful cab experience in four years in San Diego. USA Cab at the airport. Cab driver barely speaks english, says it is the first time he drives a cab, cab dirty in the inside, window does not open. \He refuses to follow directions and screams that he rathers pays me (the customer) than go the way I told him to (up Pacific Hghwy and Wash street to Hillcrest (!). He then complained about me paying with a credit card (I had asked for that before i went on the vehicle). He asked for personal informaiton that i had never had anyone ask and wrote down my social out of my drivers' license (which scared me). He took twenty minutes to verify the information and finally REFUSED to give me a receipt for hte fare! (which i had tipped). He would not give me a receipt! that's my right as a consumer. We argued for a long time, and only when i was about to call the police, he finally wrote down a receipt. He had the dispatcher on the line which also insisted that they, USA CAB, do not hand out receipts (!). Finally, the driver had no identification whatsoever. He was rude and insulting. Didnt give me the change either. AWFUL experience. Absolutely awful.
