Great, great, great food!
This is some of the best Turkish food in Chicago, and very reasonably priced. But the restaurant itself is kind of small, and can be very crowded. I recommend you call ahead to make a reservation.

First time Turkish and LOVED it!
I was there for the brunch one Sunday last winter but only now decided to write a review. This was my first time having Turkish food and I loved everything about the experience. The place is cozy and the old guy who was our waiter was super attentive and fun. The food was fabulous. I was sure going in that there would be at least one thing I didn't like but I was completely wrong! Everything was tasty and served at just the right time. I think I'm a Turkish bread @ddict now, too! This is a great place for a casual, very tasty Sunday brunch with friends or family.

Pros: The food was great, as was the service!
Cons: Possibly parking....but that's a real stretch to find a "con."

Worst Customer Service
We, me and my wife, live about 130 miles south of Chicago, and we were visiting Chicago that weekend for a festival. However, one of the attractions in Chicago for us is the Turkish restaurants. So we did not hesitate to drive for about 30 minutes to Turquoise Restaurant since we had not been there before. We did not have any reservations, and we were told we would need to wait 15-30 minutes since they had a lot of reservations. We accepted that and started waiting. About 5 minutes after we started waiting, another family of 5 came. They did not have a reservation either and they were told to wait like us. They also accepted, but kept insisting on a waitress they probably knew there to get one of the tables at which the guests were done with their food, and were waiting for the check. They were given the table before us and we were told that we will need to wait another 5 minutes for our table. Witnessing all this double standard and disrespect for the customer we naturally did not wait and left for another restaurant, after making sure that the waitress understands why we were leaving. They tried to make up excuses that did not make any sense. I think such places should be punished for such behavior, and I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Cons: Double standard on treating the customers. Hard to find parking. Very rude staff.
