Tsunami is AWFUL!!
I'm not one to write restaurant reviews, but I felt compelled to share my TERRIBLE experience at Tsunami. I was there for a business dinner. Well, I ordered one of the entree dishes and after an extremely long wait, the waitress brought the wrong dish (she was brand new). So I told her the problem and explained that she need not worry about it, as we did not have time to wait for a new one to be prepared. So she took the entree without me even touching it! When the check came, she had charged me for the meal from which I had not taken a single bite! As I said this was a business dinner and I did not want to make an issue of it at that time. But when I called the management the next day, they told me "Sorry about your luck" and said I should have dealt with it while I was there. I also wrote them a letter, explaining the circumstances. But I never got a reply. It's one thing to have bad service, but bad management, too!? There's no excuse. Don't patronize a place that treats customers this way! There are so many more restaurants in Downtown that actually value your business and will treat you with the Souther Hospitality that this city is famous for. I've since been eating at Wasabi (just a block up Market St) and it is SO much better (food and service).
