I am so excited about Truman Medical Center - both Lakewood and Hilltop. This has been the most amazing experience I've had. I went into the hospital short of breath only to find out that my CHF has deteriorated greatly. The ER Nurse was amazing and was instrumental in getting the right information to the Doctors. I've find that when you love on the staff, even just a little bit, they will give their hearts out in abundance. The Doctors were also amazing and extremely knowlegable. They are quick and responsive and I greatly appreciated how they were constantly asking if all of my needs were being met. Yes, there were lots of needles and tubes and pain, but the staff was kind and understanding and ensured I got the best treatment. I was moved from Truman Lakewood to Truman Hilltop when it was discovered that I needed a heart transplant. The staff was quick and responsive. The transition was excellent. Worst hospital ive ever been to,my wife is overdue to have her baby they refuse to induce, they are slow with every process they do, we waited for almost 3 hours for nothing, she had a little uti nothing major. worst hospital ever, slowest service ive ever seen.

We have been to this hospitals emergency room a few times and have had pretty good experiances with them. The nurses and doctors have been great with the little ones. The only complaint is the wait no matter what time of day is always so long. If they could only get the patients through faster it would be awsome.
