Highly recommended by Mike K. at InsiderPages
My wife's Toyota Sienna windshield developed a crack after being hit (apparently) by a stone or something. After reading as many reviews on the interweb as I could find picked Tru-Vu because they were apparently recommended by Toyota dealers.

Called and got a quote from someone who's English frankly was not that good, but the quote was. Went in with some hesitation, had to wait until they opened 1/2 hour late, but then found the owner/operator recognized me from my description of what I needed - the person I talked to had taken perfect notes!

He had the windshield in stock, installed it while I walked down the street and had breakfast, then knocked some money off the price and rounded down. Paid $250, significantly less than I was prepared to pay, for an apparently perfect job.

This was the kind of service you'd expect to find in a small town where everybody knows everybody, and reputation is everything. Friendly, top-notch work at a great price. What more could you ask?

Untrained, Poor Quality by Kelly K. at InsiderPages
My car was vandalized, the window was broken and I called Tru-Vu. They sent out someone who obviously had very little experience with german cars. They used a very cheap after-market window that never fit properly and the window did not go up into the car for that snug bmw fit after closing the door. When I called Tru-Vu to complain, they were very hostile and asked me why I waited so long to call (even though it had only been a couple of weeks and I have a busy schedule). Since they wanted to charge me more money for a job poorly done, I went somewhere else where I found out that the inside of my door was full of broken glass that was jamming the motor on the window and the pressure on the window was not right since it had been installed improperly. Way to go Tru-Vu. Maybe you should learn how to do the job right?

Great job, quick, right price by Mark A. at InsiderPages
I called around to a bunch of glass shops in Pasadena, including two recommended by my insurance company, to replace my Prius's windshield. I also called Longo Toyota, just to see.

I was quoted ~$450 by all of the Pasadena shops (using aftermarket windshields), and $1380 by Longo (OEM windshield)! I found Tru Vu in Eagle Rock in these reviews and called them for an estimate. $218 plus tax installed! I asked them at some length about the aftermarket windshield -- the thickness, appearance, etc. They gave very straightforward answers, and given the reviews here, I went with them.

They has the windshield in stock. Indeed it looked identical, except it didn't say Toyota on it. They did a beautiful, seamless job installing it. I was in and out in about half an hour. The price was as quoted. They apparently do a lot of Toyotas, with referrals from two local Toyota dealers (!), which is why they had the windshield in stock.

Overall, an unusually good experience for a car repair, at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys.

Delightful experience! by Joan S. at InsiderPages
My car got broken in to which made me sad. I took my car to Tru Vu Auto Glass. They fixed it for much less than I would have imagined, were wonderful and thoughtful to deal with, and fixed a few other things while they were at it. This is old school kind of customer service. These folks are fantastic!
