The TESOL course is very in-depth and gives you lots of opportunity to practice teaching! The staff at Transworld are very knowledgeable and encouraging! I've already landed a teaching job in China with their help! I'm sending this from Hong Kong (on a visa run), but I've been in China for about a week now (since yesterday) and the job is going very well! The staff at my new job have been very helpful and the kids are so fun to work with and so very adorable!!‎

I took the part time TESOL course and I must echo the other reviews - the teachers and materials were all excellent! Transworld will prepare you well for teaching, but be warned much of your success will be determined by your own goals and abilities. I stopped short of giving the experience 5 stars due to the job search - yes, they can help on some level in finding a job, but the job binders have seriously outdated materials (job info from the 1990s). To make a 4 star experience a 5 star experience, they should bring in an intern to update the job search binder twice a year and have someone whose responsibility it is to assist with job placement.‎

I recently completed the month-long course and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations in every way. I admit that before taking this course I expected it to be a breeze. But it turned out to be one of the most comprehensive courses that I have ever taken. Each day was so well planned and stacked full of information that I was actually amazed at how little I knew beforehand. People are often under the impression that they can teach English simply because they can speak the language but there is nothing further from the truth. After finishing this course, I am fully confident that I can teach students in a highly effective manner. Phoebe, who taught most of the classes, was by far the best teacher I have ever had and all the other teachers in the school were amazing as well. They provided me with the motivation to become the best teacher possible. In addition, the school was beautiful, bright, and clean and located in an ideal area. This is money well spent!‎

Transworld School has been absolutely wonderful in my opinion and here is Why... Ceri, Phoebe,Julie,Jarrod,Peter,Rick, and Marisa are all extremely knowledgeable, friendly, constructive, and a pleasure to have as teachers. ...
