I prefer the one on Garnet
This is a nice Trader Joe's, maybe a bit bigger than the one in Pacific Beach on Garnet. I really dislike the parking lot which is part of the reason why I avoid it. I also find it a bit harder to navigate. All in all though, they have the same fare as the rest of the Trader Joe's. I don't really have any complaints about the store itself.

Last time I was there, the lines were long as well. I think they might have a better cheese selection than the one on Garnet because I was able to locate a few cheeses at this location that I couldn't find at the other one. I did get some great help in the wine department also.

Overall: One of the busiest locations I have been to, even more busy than PB. This specific location is a bit larger and has its fruit and veggie displays outside for easier access. There isn't anything more special about this location compared to others, other than that is sites next to a grocery store so you could get all your shopping done in one trip if there is something you need that TJ cannot provide. I especially like the deals on frozen food, namely deserts! My favorite is the frozen lava cakes that you can pop in the micro. I also like the frozen nann bread. My absolute favorite it is pre-made turkey sandwich in pretzel bread! You have to get this! It is to yummalicious.

Value: fairly priced.

Service: good

Quality: the store itself can be a bit disheveled due to the high foot traffic.
Pros: one stop shopping in this center
Cons: parking and crowds
Value: fairly priced.

Great for alternative food
This Trader Joes is really small, but it packs a lot of products and it has everything that you need. One of my favorite things is to get their pizza dough, which is only a little over a dollar, and make a humongous pizza myself at home. The service by their employees are outstanding. In addition, they have a bunch of products that you cannot find at Ralphs. The only complaint that I have is that their checkout cashier stands are very small, if there is a long line you basically need to hold your stuff, as there is no small moving belt that you can rest your items on before it is your turn.

Interesting Grocery Store
Trader Joe's carries a lot of items that other grocery stores like Ralphs and Vons does not carry. I've found some pretty interesting stuff in Trader Joe's, all good quality and good price. Things like hummus and pita bread and other things from different cultures are some of the things you can find at Trader Joe's. The people who work here wear colorful shirts and are very friendly.

This actual Trader Joes is actually kind of small but it carries a lot of different things. The items are reasonably priced. There are a lot of different brands that you don't see at Ralphs or Vons. Their image is to be the friendly neighborhood provider of locally grown goods, I don't know how much of this is true, but they definitely are friendly.

My favorite thing to get at Trader Joes is the fruit floes (popsicles). They really are a healthy choice and made with real fruit, but it is so delicious! It's a real great treat during the summertime.

The Secret is Out!
Wanna get in on a little secret? I figured out how Trader Joes picks the locations for their stores. First, they pick a general area to put in a store. Next, someone comes in and drives around until they find a shopping center with the worst possible parking lot situation and all that's left is to sign the lease.

Of course, this location is no exception as the devil himself designed the parking lot here. Parking issues aside, this is my go-to TJ's. Store is decently sized, never too crowded (save for Sunday afternoons/eves), and usually well-stocked. Staff is helpful if something on the shelf is missing or if help is needed in locating a product.
