After a bad experience in the service department of another Toyota dealership (I'm looking at you Mossy) I took my car here for service. I found Joe who is a service writer and is great, and I've been going back ever since. As with most dealerships the prices are probably higher than some other places, but while under warranty I wanted to stick with a dealership. The service is pretty quick, and they have a comfortable waiting room. They also have a little snack place which is very handy, and they are close to a few places to eat if you're there at lunch time.

I haven't had any major problems with my car, so I don't know how they are if there is something really wrong. But for regular maintenance they are good.

I have a Scion and I always take my car to the Toyota dealerships to be worked on. I always took my car to this Toyota dealership and they have always been great with their customer service and promptness (I've never waited more than an hour for an oil change and free car wash). I moved to east county and tried out a few other dealerships and they do not even compete with this place! Even though it's further from my apt, I will continue to go to Toyota San Diego. They greet you quickly with a friendly attitude (not like you're an inconvenience), get your settled in the waiting room with free wi-fi, a kids area, tvs, comfy chairs, and table, and have you in and out as quickly as possible.

When I first saw the place I was impressed by the whole facility, not to mention having the actual Toyota AutoBody Shop. I thought immediately I would have to befriend someone who works there so I can get hooked up. Anyway they have a huuge inventory. I heard they even have more cars on the roof?? Anyway if you want to shop with a full selection instead of being sold into a model you didn't even consider... Make sure you stop here first. I think being a bigger dealership they have more power over price. I have three uncles who purchased here and two of them refered two of their friends right away and got cars.

I just bought a 2010 Honda Civic from Toyota San Diego. The whole experience was the best I've ever ex[erienced. All of the employees are knowledgeable, and very helpful. From the moment I decided on which model I wanted to buy, to the end of the sale, it may have taken an hour (if that long). I felt my decision was the BEST decision I have ever made.
