I've been taking my truck to them for about 4 years now. Service has always been unreal, and the truck runs flawlessly.

Prolly could save a few bucks going to some random place, but going to them I always know it's going to be done correctly, and the amenities can't be beat, esp at their new service center:
Free shuttle from the service center home and they'll pick you up at home and bring you back to the service center.
From their new place you can walk down to the Coaster station, too.
If you're stuck at the dealership they have free wi-fi, so I can work remotely while my car is getting fixed.

The place has a coffee bar and TVs and tons of seating.

Our toyota has been generally a reliable car, but we did have a couple of concerns early on. We brought it to the service deptments attention several times while under warrantee and each time they found nothing wrong. When we had a failure shortly after our warrantee period expired, the part failed. After two conversations with the service manager they agreed to fix our car at no cost and even threw in a detail for our troubles.

Had to have my 2005 4Runner's 50,000-mile service and new tires in which the Toyota Carlsbad Service team did a wonderful job in great time.

It's definitely a pleasure having Toyota Carlsbad on my side when it comes to car repair.

I recently bought a 2010 RAV4 from this dealership. If you'd like to know why read on... I was in the market for a new car and went to this dealership looking to buy a car using the Costco Auto program. I look and act fairly young and I rarely get taken seriously when it comes to buying big ticket items. I met Omar Curry and from the very beginning he treated me with respect. Omar was patient and I never once felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. Omar quoted me a great price right from the beginning. After talking with Omar I went to 2 other dealerships in San Diego (Escondido and Kearny Mesa). The sales manager at Escondido was really aggressive (I wish I could remember his name so you could avoid him). He tried to pressure and guilt me into buying the car, telling me I had taken his time etc., when from the beginning I clearly stated that I simply wanted to get a quote for their best price. After some time, the sales manager quoted me a price lower than the Carlsbad ...

I walked through the used section, just frequenting the area as I always do. It's a good walk. Anyways as I was walking through I saw out of the corner of my eye someone sitting on a golf cart looking deal. I heard Hey, I looked over and this kid takes off his sunglasses, steps off the cart and asks me what kind of car he could put me in. Just the tone and the way that looked made me laugh as it was directly out of those sleazy movies. Anyways I asked if he had any cars with a V-8, and we looked at a few. It's Toyota, I wasn't expecting anything. They had a few cars, I looked at a couple and took off. There was a little "buy now" pressure as almost always associated with car dealerships. No offense to them, but whoever that was needs to take into consideration that a introduction says a million words.‎
