Abysmal Service Department, Decent Carwash
Beware of having your vehicle serviced at Toyota 101!!! I received a call from the service department indicating my repair was complete. Upon inspection it was immediately clear that the repair had not been performed correctly, and that the underlying problem had not been resolved. I had to wait several additional hours beyond the promised time of completion for the repair to be re-done correctly. It is unconscionable after I paid $1000 that the service department would claim the repair had been completed when it had not been done. I have previously been hassled at Toyota 101 with delays as the mechanics are lax about filling out paperwork.

Not the usual pressure tactics
This is an older facility, so it's tight. I was given time to look at the cars without pressure, and negotiations were painless. I think the fact that the salespeople are on a salary helps them be more civilized and less pushy. I like it.
I've only used the service department once, but they welcomed me as a new owner like they appreciate the business. The car was ready on time and they even washed it without me asking. I will return!

Great place to take your car. They give it a wash after servicing. Not all places do this. Good customer service.
Really recommend. They call if there is something extra wrong or they have a question.

Please, please don't go here. by larry p. at InsiderPages
I went to this place shopping for a 2007 Prius. I??????d done a lot of research beforehand, but still was very put-off by the condescending attitude of the salesperson I had to deal with. Maybe that should have been a warning sign, but omens be damned, I wanted that Prius, even if it meant putting up with a jerk in a tie and short sleeves for a few hours.

After some quite tedious back and forth over the price, we did finally settled on a price that was agreeable. Or so I thought. When it was time to deal with the finance manager and sign the contract, I was incensed to find that they were trying to sneak in a much higher interest rate than the one they??????d already promised.

Look, I get how this sort of thing works. If you??????re not paying attention, unscrupulous salespeople will milk that for all its worth. I suppose what I found most infuriating was the self-righteous tone they took when I called them on it. The sleazy general manager began shouting at me, and arguing that I was the one at fault! I really don??????t know how else to characterize the people I had to deal with, other than as unprofessional, and downright immoral. I hope that if you do decide to shop here, you??????ll be very, very careful, and that you have a thick-skin when it comes to people generally insulting your intelligence with games and low-balling tactics.

In general, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and don??????t want to leave bad reviews over every little minor annoyance. But in this instance, I really feel morally obligated to share my very poor experience with everyone else. If I hadn??????t been paying attention the entire time, the general manager of this dealership would have happily jobbed me out of a few extra thousand bucks.

In short, if you want to be treated like an idiot and don??????t mind being ripped off, by all means, give this place a shot. Otherwise, I would strongly

Poor Service by George R. at InsiderPages
Bought my 2006 Prius in June from Toyota 101, first service needed to replace rear small window broken by a baseball. Was told I must preorder and pay for the part. Poor attitude, very little information about the process. I called Toyota Sunnyvale Service Dept and what a difference. Cheeful, full of useful information, no need for me to pre-order the part. Called Toyota 800 Customer Service and told them the story too, and they had even more useful suggestions, so now I don't have to go to Toyota 101 service at all. I can change the oil myself so I am going to avoid Toyota 101 Service Dept at all costs.

PROS:
CONS: Poor communication, bad attitude.
