The worst pizza I have ever had in my life‎
The pizza was absolutely terrible, by far the worst I have ever had. It might have been decent but the sauce consisted mostly of ketchup, disgusting! I would avoid ordering it at all costs.‎

Great place for hanging out‎
The pump is a great place for hanging out. You can actually here yourself speak and they have a great selection. The atmosphere is wonderful and the prices are just high enough to keep the kiddies out.‎

This is a nice little neighborhood style...
bar. If you're gonna be bar hopping in Detroit I would definately say to stop in. There are a few problems though. Its very small and can get hot and smoky pretty quick. The second and biggest problem is that it is way too loud. ...

Good food, Worst Waitstaff
My group of 4 came in after a show at the Fillmore. We politely asked the waitress if the kitchen was still open because it was getting close to 10pm & if it wasnt we would've gladly gone somewhere else as we were starving & having been a waitress before I know what it's like to have customers come in when you're trying to shut down the kitchen. She seemed irritated and muttered "for a while longer". Ok, either it is or it isnt. Sorry. Again, we would've went somewhere else. Everyone around us was eating so we ordered - simple - 4 burgers and an order of cheese bread for an appetizer. She replies "I'll be bringing your bread out with your dinner" and walks away! Um..that's the whole point of an APPETIZER is so you can eat it beforehand. The best part was when she brought out the burgers is that she never even brought out the bread. Guess she figured we didnt deserve it. She also took our tables ashtray away, probably figured we were the only table in there who didnt deserve to smoke so we had to go snag one off another table. After observing her for the evening we realized she was more interested in the table of 10 behind us who was ordering shots at $100 a round. Big tippers I suppose. Our bill came to $42. I would've left her at least $10-$12 because I've been there, know it's a sucky job and feel for her even though she brought us one round of drinks & 4 burgers. But instead she got $3 because she cared more about what she thought would be the "big tippers" behind me. The restaurant was decent & the burgers we had were good. I think they need to have some training for their waitstaff on etiquette. I wont be back.

Totally Satisfied by Motor City C. at InsiderPages
The Chargers had a fundraiser at this spot about six months ago. The waitstaff was so friendly and helpful. They made our fundraiser a total success, and we will definately do another fundraiser here. It has a mature crowd, but yet down to earth.
