Very nice Hotel with nice pool and restaraunt. Very close to the malls and freeway. I am a local but had friends visit and stay here. We had dinner and it was very good a little upscale but would go again.

I was here for a conference a few weeks ago. It is convenient since it is right next to the conference center. I stayed in one of the suites for two nights. the hotel is a very nice place to stay. They take good care of their area and their gardens and the paths/walkways were gorgeous with a splendid assortment of roses, plants, and fountains fixated all over the place which would make any high school prom want to book this place. . Also, as you and as you cross though the bridge to the behind the hotel to go through the Fashion Valley Mall (a superb outdoor mall!), you have to cross the small San Diego river. People just pass by it to go to the mall, but it is a really nice area with ducks waddling around and squirrels going to and fro the area as a more natural California scene from balboa park (which is driving distance to the area). The staff was very very friendly and accommodating .

I recently visited town and country and let me tell you it was the best experience I have ever had. The spa was gorgeous, huge and reasonably priced. The food was awesome and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful. I would reccommend it to all my friends

I recently visited the Town & Country and I was disappointed. It is essentially a complex of motels all strung together. There is no theme to the property at all. While some of the staff performed like high-end resort staff, such as the bell-men, others, such as the room maintenance people were very low-service. I reported a clogged toilet and requested that it be resolved while I went out to dinner. We returned four hours later, and nothing had been done.
In my opinion, the property is too large...some rooms over 1000 feet from the front desk, and very incovenient.
