One of the best golf courses in the world
Amazing views of the ocean along some of the most challenging and well designed holes. The us open was held here and they have the annual Buick invitational.
They have special rates for locals but it can be challenging to get a tee time.

Great Deal on a pro course
Torrey Pines Golf Course is a world class course, shown by the US Open coming here to play a few years ago. One secret: if you are a San Diego resident, you can play here for insanely cheap!! The resident card costs about $25 for the year, all you need to do is to show your drivers license, electric bill, or student ID (if you are a student in SD). After that, you can keep coming back for rounds of golf for only 20-some dollars! That's as much as you pay, or even less, than some non-PGA courses! They take reservations for tee times a week in advance, so just give them a call!
