I can't believe I've passed this bar so many years and never been to it...until now! I went there for a meetup event and was very pleasantly surprised.

The beer selection is very wide, which is perfect for me, but not for someone who doesn't like beer. This time I didn't get to try their food, but the beers on tap are priced from $5 and above.

They have several specials, for example on Mondays local beers on tap are $3!! And I saw signs about several other events during the month.

The place itself is small in the front with a back area that has more room and several long picnic type benches to sit on. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's the kind of place you can spend many hours drinking, eating and chatting with friends.

So I was referred to come here by the owner of Rosamunde Sausage up in San Francisco in the Lower Haight district.

Definitely a hip joint but there's a certain crowd that it seems to pull in. Apparently not me and my crew.

It was pretty dark in there and seating is unusual. Unusual in the sense that if you get stuck with the center part of the table, you have to ask people sitting on either ends to move out to leave.

While the service was good, the food, not so much. I didn't care much for the oversized bun and the mixed greens salad. It had no dressing so it was blah. I tried my friends chips and it seemed like they used kettle chips or the lay's kettle chips from costco.

Beer isnt my thing and thats pretty much all they have minus a few wines that have an after-taste like beer. I had the Redstone Meadery Sunshine Nectar which was okay.

Come here if you're heavily into trying a variety of beer. But I'm probably gonna steer clear of this place next time I'm in North Park.

OK, so everyone knows San Diego is the premiere city on planet Earth for epic beer, but not everyone knows where you can go to enjoy dozens of those beers with some good food.

Many of the best local beers are on tap, along with a very impressive selection of bottled beers, served by some of the most knowledgeable employees imaginable.

The food is good, but go there for many of this planet's best beers in a casual atmosphere.

My friend and I stumbled upon this beer bar on accident and it was pretty neat. It’s pretty small so it gets really crowded really quick and has the potential to be pretty loud. But don’t let that scare you away, it’s worth it. I don’t know how many beers they have on top but it’s a lot, the menu was kind of overwhelming. I wish the menu had descriptions of them or something so you can get a better idea of what you want, but the bar tenders were really helpful so you can just ask them about one and they will let you try a little bit to test it out

I love coming to Toronado!! They have such a wide selection of beers! Their selection includes beer that I've never heard of, or names that I can't pronounce! It's a lot of fun trying new beer and this is the place to do it!

My friends and I never order the same drinks so that we have more options to try from.

The guys behind the bar are very knowledgeable about the beer and are very helpful in picking out a beer that you would enjoy. Their also patient with you when there is a line behind you and you're still figuring out your order.
