We give up--very rude (and sleepy) manager.
I have visited Toro's a few times, the sushi is pretty good and we love the hibachi, but the female manager with short hair really has really ruined our dining experiences the last couple of times I have eaten here. After eating here twice with my wife and no problems, I decided to bring one of my best clients for a lunch meeting. My client had back surgery recently and wanted to sit in a booth because its more comfortable. The only booths left were for large groups but our hostess happily accomodated our request. Then the manager had the audacity to make the hostess come back and tell us we had to move--we have too much room. I was so embarassed I wanted to break that woman's neck but I also wanted to keep my client (who was very hungry for sushi) so we resigned to a table. Last week, I reluctantly came back in with my wife for lunch and I saw that same stupid woman ASLEEP in that same big booth she turned me and my client out of! Apparently, booths are only available for large parties and sleepy managers. I pointed this out to my wife and she has also seen her asleep when she took her mother here!!! We sat there through the rest of our meal watching that ugly woman snore. The food is good, but not good enough to overcome the likes of this lady. We will not come back, and I will be very suprised it Toro's is still here next year.
