Tomiko is the best sushi restaurant in Encinitas / North County. I've been here for some amazing dinners. Cool location with a great view, super fresh, super delicious sushi and well poured drinks. They absolutely make the best sushi in North County. The vibe is cool here, it's upscale yet low key and casual. Great place to take a date. Sweet view of Moonlight beach. Awesome staff and experience from the time you walk in the door to pay the bill. I highly recommend use check them out. Worth the drive from any part of town. Call for reservations on weekends.

Tomiko's has one of the best Happy Hour Menus around. With over 30 items (and rolls) ranging between $4-$6, you're bound to come across a few favorites.

Definitely try the Chunky Monkey and the ACE rolls. They're amazing.

this place is amazingly authentic! The owner is from Taiwan and many of the dishes feature homemade recipes made by Tomiko herself! I'd suggest the Tomiko seared ahi special. Covered with 7 pepper spices! The ambience is a treat in itself! ...

I left a 4 dollar sushi tip and the waiter changed it to $40. Very nice of them to do that I'll be talking to their manager. The food was good but not that good. Service was slow I'm still waiting for the refund after they admitted they overcharged me $40.‎
