I've been to Tom's Oyster Bar once. The service was disappointing, as was the interior, so we chose to be seated on the patio by the street. The atmosphere is quite "cheap" outside. I didn't feel like the tables and chairs were very clean. I ordered soup and wasn't given any bread or crackers with it, we had to ask for refills on everything and my partners food was kind of oily. Altogether the food was tasty enough, but the prices are not a measure of what to expect, if you expect quality for money.
Our waiter took forever to take our order, then handed us over to another waiter and neither of them checked in with us on anything.

I went to Tom's Oyster Bar for appetizers and drinks. I plan on going back for dinner. It had a nice menu, and a fun, not stuffy atmosphere. The drinks were average priced as well. The Royal Oak location also has outside seating along Main Street in the warmer months.

Alway's a good meal and excellent service. Only downfall is the crowd at times.
