I think this place takes advantage of the fact that many people who order from them are tourist who will never become repeat customers anyway. I ordered sushi & sashimi combo to go, and when I got to my hotel, I discovered that the fish fillets were half frozen. When I called the restaurant, the waitress told me they place sashimi on ice for to go orders. I've never heard of such a thing. Plus, the fillets were not placed on ice, they were obviously frozen beforehand I eat sushi regularly and have tried many places across the states, but I have never ever had the worst experience than at Tokyo Sushi. To their credit, the hibachi style chicken and the miso soup were good. So, I guess if you have to order from them, order cooked food - not sushi / sashimi‎
