Take this from an asian, never eat their raw fish. I eat a lot of sushi and this is by far the worst sushi i've ever had. When the fish tastes fishy, that means its gone bad and should not be eaten raw. I ate 2 pieces and left. I can't vouch for their other foods, but NEVER eat their raw fish. I wouldn't be surprised if people get sick from their food. The people leaving good reviews obviously have never had real sushi.

I love going here for dinner. It's great for a romantic dinner or for family dinner. We mostly order take out sushi because their sushi chef is fantastic. Highly recommend.

It helps that it's very close to our house but this is by far our favorite sushi place and we've eaten at a lot of different ones in Raleigh.

The wait staff can be a bit overwhelmed at times when it's really busy but it's not their fault. On occasion it seems like they could use more help but that is usually the exception to the rule.

The fish has always been fresh in the sushi and I don't recall ever having a bad experience there. We have never ordered off the regular menu other than soup and the house salad, which is exceptional IMO.

Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

We have eaten many relaxing meals here. The hibachi chicken is delicious and the chef is willing to prepare it low salt for me. The tempura is a real treat and my fiance enjoys the sushi. For a real treat we have green tea ice cream or the friend banana.

Our family has eaten at Toyko house for many years. It is a comfortable, homey neighborhood sushi bar. The staff/chefs are very friendly and helpful and the food is usually good. On one occasion, we did encounter lukewarm sushi. Sushi must be chilled! Otherwise, we have been pleased with each experience. The tempura is delicious, as is the lo mein, kids' favorite. As with most sushi bars, eating at lunch is more economical.
