I went into Tire Kingdom thinking, ok..this is a nationally known store so I could trust them. I asked for 2 tires for my truck and asked they be placed on the front as I have front wheel drive, and the two best tires left be placed on the rear. They took my information, told me it was an hour to hour and half wait. Two hours later I went to the counter to get change for a 5 for the soda machine, and a lady was at the counter complaining that she had asked for her new tire to be placed on the front and they placed it on the rear. They told her that tire companies now required them to place all new tires on the rear if 3 or more weren't purchased. I waited and when she left, I asked why I wasnt told that at the time I made my request. The guy just shrugged. I cancelled my order and left. Guess they thought if they put them on the rear..it would be too much trouble for the customer to make them remove it, so they would just do it and not tell you. I was not a happy camper to say the least!
