There is no competition when it comes to longevity and all around love for customer at the 50 year old Tiki Ti, for the 42 years I have been a customer, as well as the next generation of my family, the Tiki Ti and it's proprietors are still as charming, and obliging today as they were 40 years ago!! The only thing that has changed is we no longer have the honor of seeing the master, Ray Buhen behind the bar! but his son Mike, and his grandson's are there now, and they are carrying on Ray's legacy! So for a tantalizing treat and a little bit of L.A. history, visit the Tiki Ti, you haven't had a REAL drink until you've had one of theirs!

If you haven't been to the Tiki, you have missed the best bar in Hollywood! It is somewhat crowed on the week-ends, but the drinks are more then worth it! I have been friends with the Buhens since my high school days at Marshall High. Mike and Vicky and sons run the best place you could hope to find. My favorite drink is "Ray's Mistake". As the old saying go's, "Try it, you'll like it".
Good luck with the "Space Pilot". It will render you stupid!!

I used to be a big fan, I would drive 50 miles with my wife at least once a month to go there and down a few Bonnie & Clydes. But after seeing the way the talk to some of their customers on FB (especially about the blue tiki mug concerns) I have no interest in going back.
