Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital is the best. Dr. Luke is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She wants what is best for her patients and recommends it. Her staff is as equally knowledgeable and compassionate. I have to say she isn't the least expensive Vet out there but she is worth it. She always gives an estimate of charges and tries to stay within those limits and will call when the work they are doing is going to exceed the estimate. They even pass out pagers to the pets owners so they can be sure to get ahold of the owners in case of an emergency. Who does that? That's amazing. She also does at home euthanasia which allows your pets suffering to end in an environment that is comfortable and familiar. That was a big deal for us as some of our previous pets got old and sick. Thank you Dr. Luke.

When I was looking for a vet and I went to many. No other Vet but Dr. Luke did a full exam on my pets. Dr. Luke and staff educated me on what I could do better to help keep my pets healthy and happy. #1 and foremost that they stressed is taking care of my pets teeth. They have many products that help me to keep my pets mouth clean and healthy. Dr. Luke always talks in terms that I can understand and even draws pictures to help me understand. I think that she is a great vet and I love the staff too. Very caring and fun. I would recommend Dr. Luke and her staff to anyone that is serious about the Vet care for their pet.

I took my eight week old english bulldog there because she hurt her eye, she wanted to do unnecessary surgery on my puppy that included getting rid of the wrinkle above her nose! She also was constantly trying to sell me there products, and they were extremely expensive! They where charging me DOUBLE what my normal vet would have charged me. I wish I had never gone there!

I worked at a Veterinary Hospital for years. This woman is a crook. She will tell you she needs to run expensive, unnecessary tests in the name of providing complete and thorough care for your pet. In reality, she's lining her pocketbook. I know for a fact. DO NOT GO HERE. She's very good at making you think she cares!!!

We have been taking our cats here for about 5 years. May be expensive (I have not shopped around lately), but you can count friendly treatment (for you) and caring treatment (for your pet). Dr Luke does a great job of explaining options in cases where the options are complicated, and her vet techs are great.
