I am from Sacramento and went to see a relative in Lakewood. I asked where is a good place to get a beer. He said The Tick Tock Tavern. He failed to tell me the best ribs ever were sold there also.I am 33 and been to alot of cities, even Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston all cities who claim to have the best ribs. The best ribs are in Cleveland Ohio!

I love the Tick Tock Tavern. They are most known for their ribs. There are two kinds, but the St Louis ribs are my favorite. Whenever I really want good ribs, there isn't any other place I can go. They are so moist, non-fatty, and the taste is amazing. Another favorite is their fish fry during Lent. They have the freshest fish that just tastes amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone. There is a bar on the other side, but it is not connected, so they are also very family friendly.

I'm from Maryland and was in Cleveland on business when I first went to this tavern on the advice of a business associate. My initial reaction was that I went back in time! The place looks soo sixties. My associate told me not to worry because I was going to love the food. Man was he right! I have traveled all over the US and I want to tell you that I've been searching for the equal of those ribs ever since. If I'm even close to Cleveland, I'm making time to visit Tick Tock Tavern for those ribs! I have been there about a dozen times over the years and have never been disappointed!

This place has been around for decades and I know why, the food is incredible! They are famous for their barbecue, but also have a great menu selection with some mediterrenian flair. The seafood salad is my favorite. Their burgers are fantastic, they have a nice selection of specialties and they are under $5!!!!! How amazing is that?
And, I've never been charged for soda refills there so I don't know what that guy is talking about.

The dining area could use a good cleaning and some redecoration though. I recommend take-out.

ate in the restaurant--charged for both refills on tiny glass of pop!! What a jip!!!! Even the waitress thought it sucked. Burger was excellent, Fries were a little greasy, but it was great.

Drank in bar. Bartenders friendly and funny, making jokes with each other.
