Good dealer - definately 4 stars,...‎
I've read a lot of reviews of this dealer on lots of sites. Seems to be a lot of low ratings and bad reviews. I guess people have had bad experiences. But frankly, I don't get it. On Edmunds.com, they get pretty good reviews. As for me, I bought a great car there - a Certified Toyota RAV4 - just two months ago, well under bluebook. I didn't get hassled, they helped me shop, and I just had to stick to my price on the car I chose, just like with any other dealer. And they treated me really well. Ya, they offered me some things in the closing stage I didn't want, and I just said "no". No hassle at all - they were just letting me know of my options and selling them just a bit, of course. I pushed back on some fees they wanted to charge, too, and some got removed while others had to stay. After all, everyone has to pay registration fees, and they have to pay someone to go to the DMV and handle it. But then, about a month after the purchase, I got a check for more ...

Run !!‎
This store did not earn a solid "F" from the better business bureau by accident. There customer service and philosophy have solidified this position forever. The service advisor suggested we have our 16 year old Son go on the free way to "duplicate the problem with a technician" of his gas pedal sticking, in which we were lucky he got out alive. Toyota corporate WILL NOT answer their 800 number phone and all have their heads buried in the sand on this debacle of Toyota. We lost $8500 selling it back and honestly it will probably end up on their used car lot for a $4K profit. We bought 4 new cars there and got zero back for a really scary situation and loyalty to their shop, imagine how a newbie is going to do there. No more, they are really really bad. They get 1 star because you can't leave 0.‎

Service Department Troubles!
My family has bought a couple cars here and have been satisfied with the dealers, it is the service department I have problems with. My next car will still be a Toyota, but I will never take my car here to get serviced ever again. ...

Wonderful Experience‎
I just finished buying my second car at Thousand Oaks Toyota. I have to say that both of my experiences have been very positive. The transaction was smooth and without any problems. They got me a good deal that I negotiated and I felt that they listened to my needs and went out of their way to make it a painless experience. Debbie was my salesperson and I would recommend her highly. Also the manager Al was helpful at making the deal happen without a hiccup. Thank you, Greg Macke‎
