<b> Overall:</b> The Solana Beach Coffee Company is a cute little coffee shop right in the middle of the Beachwalk parking lot. I'm in the area a lot so I always end up going there for breakfast/lunch. I am just one of few non-coffee drinkers left so I can't comment on their coffee, but it smells delicious!<br />

They offer a menu for breakfast and lunch as well as various baked goods and fruit prafaits, yorgut and granola, etc. It's on the healthy side - though they do have a loaded grilled cheese which is delicious (served on multigrain bread so you don't have to feel as guilty!) <br /><br /><b>Value:</b> The prices are pretty standard, but the portions are on the smaller side (but maybe I've just gotten too used to the oversized portions America now calls normal)? It's probably the size of portions I SHOULD be eating. But of what I've ordered so far, it's been delicious, so you always want more!<br /><br /><b>Service:</b> The staff is always soooo friendly and nice! My first trip, the girl gave me all her suggestions, beared with me on my weird order adjustments and served me with a smile. And the owner is usually on the premises, helping to make the food and he's super friendly as well - the kind of place where they will remember your name and seems like it's supported by a strong following of regulars!<br /><br /><b>Quality:</b> Fresh ingredients, made to order and healthy! <br />

I don't give many shops an excellent across the board but I love this place. I'm always treated great and love everything that they hand over the counter to me. Bill, the proprietor is one of the nicest and most genuine guys on this earth. Their coffee is good and there are also a nice selection of choices. I have a particular style of bagel I like and they caught on after the second time ordering it so I don't ever need to spell it out anymore! They're the best!

I eat lunch here regularly, and really appreciate the fact that when I show my face, they just smile and ask, "The usual?"

It saves me time and effort and it always comes out delicious.

I'll occasionally blaspheme and get coffee or tea or something, and it's always served hot and just as I ordered it.

Since my dog is often with me, I appreciate their outdoor water bowls, bags, and doggie treats.

My favorite is their chocolate Met-rx smoothie, done with fresh banana and fresh blueberries, add a bit of peanut butter and voila -- awesome lunch. When I win the lottery, they'll be making them for me everyday on my yacht in the Mentawais, so enjoy this great coffee shop now ;)

I get coffee from here a lot and I think the employees are some of the nicest people around. They always are smiling and willing to strike up a conversation with you. If you frequent this place enough, they will catch on how you like your coffee pretty quickly!

I've only ordered their bagel items for food and find them large and filling!

This place is also dog friendly!
